Where did you go to university? What did you study?
I went to Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris to study music, particularly piano performance.
What product/service do you provide?
Nitya Piano Studio provides music education for all ages. Our service includes private piano lessons (classical and pop genre), theory classes, as well as group classes for the young ones.
What is a typical day like for you?
My typical day starts with my daughter, waking her up and preparing her to go to school. After that, I would practice piano and do work-related activities, occasionally I have scheduled meetings with my team. After lunch, I teach piano in the afternoon.

Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra.
Probably my IB Diploma years. What I love about Sekolah Ciputra is they don’t only teach you knowledge, but also life skills, such as communication, collaboration and leadership skills that I found very useful throughout all stages of my life.
What advice would you give to a graduating student that was interested in creating their own business?
Deliver more than expected and always go the extra mile. It is especially important to distinguish yourself if you are working in the service industry.
What was the inspiration behind your business?
Sharing the joy of music, especially classical music, to the next generations. I believe that music is important to make us a better human being. Not only it improves our intelligence and creativity, it also equips us with important things in life. Music teaches us to be patient, to work hard and persevere. It also teaches us to be brave and to believe in ourselves when performing on stage.
